On August 17th, about eight months after my diagnosis with Multiple Myeloma, I was admitted to the UCSF Medical Center for my second high dose melphalan and autologous stem cell transplant. I am scheduled to be here for 3 weeks, but hope to get out in less time. The following is a chronicle of my ex ... Well, after a week in the hospital I am home. They got the pain managed, so I could get discharged, so I could go to Boston to have an Endoscopic Ultrasound. I am on 2 pain meds., that actually give me some relief. Yup, it IS Pancreatitis.
